Welcome

Turkey's growing economy together with its success in the field of science are making it an increasingly interesting partner for the researchers in Europe. The importance of this kind of collaboration in a large number of fields is aiming to communicate and establish links to new research ideas. Among the European countries, Germany and Turkey are going to celebrate the 30th years anniversary of scientific relations in 2014. The two countries enjoy a special relationship with great potential for cooperation, not least due to the large number of people of Turkish descent living in Germany and the integration policy of the European Union. Federal Research Minister Johanna Wanka and the Turkish Minister of Science, Technology and Industry, Nihat Ergün, have agreed to sponsor a "German-Turkish Year of Research, Education and Innovation".
On behalf of the Executive and Organizing Committee, we warmly welcome your participation to the “The Internatıonal Workshop on Flexible Bio- and Organic Printed Electronics”, organized in Konya, TURKEY between the dates of 1st-3rd, May 2014. Konya is located in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey and inherits historical traces of great civilizations as it has been a host town to many civilizations during history. It is one of the unique centers that combine its historical heritage and cultural accumulation at present time. The Neolithic settlement of Çatalhöyük in Konya Province was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012.
